Custom machines, designed and built in-house
Purpose-built automation sized to ship on a straight truck — engineered, built, and backed by one team.
For the jobs without a clear answer
Some jobs don’t have a clear path forwards. True North designs and builds custom machines for those — assembly systems, test stands, feeding and material-handling equipment, and the cells that tie them together. The same engineers who model a machine build it, run it off, and stand behind it, so the design and the build never drift apart.
We work across a wide range of processes: vision-guided robotics and 6-axis integration, bowl feeders and vibratory feeding, laser marking and cutting, plastics welding, leak and functional testing, bending, and oven operations — and manual assembly or check stations where a person is still the right tool.
Controls, electrical, and PLC/HMI programming are handled by our longtime partner Kyle Israels of KAI Enterprises, so machines ship fully integrated. We also rebuild, retrofit, and upgrade existing equipment, including machines other builders left behind.
Because we carry a design shop’s overhead rather than a big integrator’s, our pricing tends to land below traditional machine builders, and we can expedite a build in as few as 9 weeks. Throughout, your team stays in the room — from concept through on-site install and runoff.

Where our work has taken us
Twenty-five years of projects span a lot of industries. Some we live in daily, others we’ve visited once or twice, but the engineering usually translates: automotive & mobility, furniture & office furniture, consumer goods & housewares, medical & healthcare devices, packaging & closures, electronics & electrical, aerospace & defense, food & beverage, recreational & sporting goods, and material handling & logistics.
