Design capacity when you need it

3D modeling, detailed drawings, and analysis — from a single fixture to a production line over a hundred feet long.

Design is where we started

Design is still the heart of most of what we do. We take engineering work directly — concept, 3D modeling, detailed 2D drawings, FEA and simulation, or simply capacity design — at whatever scale a job calls for. That might be a small fixture, a set of punches and dies, or the full layout and integration design for a production line occupying square footage in the thousands.

The work comes from all directions: manufacturers without a full-time design team, machine shops, other machine builders needing overflow capacity, and individuals with an idea to develop. We plug in as extra hands during a busy stretch or as specialized expertise you’d rather not keep on staff. When a project needs controls or electrical design, that’s carried by our partner Kyle Israels of KAI Enterprises.

Because we also build, we design for how things actually get made and maintained — the package that reaches the floor is one we’d want to build for ourselves.

Capabilities

What we design

Bring the whole project or just the part you’re stuck on.

  • 3D modeling & detailed 2D drawings
  • FEA / simulation
  • Reverse engineering
  • Full production-line layout & integration design
  • Controls / electrical design (through KAI)
  • Overflow design capacity for other builders & shops
  • Punches and dies
Industries

Where our work has taken us

Twenty-five years of projects span a lot of industries. Some we live in daily, others we’ve visited once or twice, but the engineering usually translates: automotive & mobility, furniture & office furniture, consumer goods & housewares, medical & healthcare devices, packaging & closures, electronics & electrical, aerospace & defense, food & beverage, recreational & sporting goods, and material handling & logistics.
